A Jackson mom, fighting to keep her parental rights, is expected back in court on Friday.
Amanda Redman is charged with manslaughter and child abuse in the death of her 27-day-old daughter.
Police say she smothered and killed the newborn as they slept together on a couch on April 2nd.
A judge decided last week there was enough evidence to send Redman's case to trial.
Her parental rights hearing continues on Friday; she's fighting to keep custody of her other three children.
