All lanes of Interstate 96 along south Lansing are back to normal, more than six hours after a semi-truck accident snarled traffic for the morning.
The driver of the truck, a 57-year-old Gibraltar man, died in the crash.
The accident happened shortly after 6:30 Thursday morning, just west of the Edgewood Street exit.
The commercial vehicle, a double trailer semi-truck was carrying large boulder type rocks.
Westbound traffic was narrowed to one lane near the crash site, which snarled traffic for hours.
The wreckage will be removed soon, and could cause some traffic interruptions.
