MANISTEE, Mich. (AP) -- Actor John C. Reilly says he just happened to be in the neighborhood. So he stopped at a movie theater in a small Michigan town to see his latest film, "Guardians of the Galaxy."
Reilly was at the Vogue Theatre in Manistee in northern Michigan on Friday. The Chicago native says he has a cottage in the area.
Reilly plays the role of Rhomann Dey in the sci-fi film. TV station WPBN-WTOM says Reilly told moviegoers that he doesn't have a large role, but that didn't seem to bother the audience.
David Kamaloski says Reilly's appearance made it feel like a Hollywood premiere in Manistee.
Reilly was nominated for an Academy Award for his work in the 2002 film "Chicago."
