Construction along a stretch of I-94 in Jackson County will now take place during the overnight hours after several accidents in recent weeks.
Kari Arend with MDOT tells News 10 the road work will happen between 8pm and 6am, Monday through Thursday, until the project is complete in early September.
One lane will be closed in each direction between Michigan Avenue in Parma Township and the Calhoun County line.
The changes were made after several accidents along that stretch of highway since construction began in mid-July. At least two of them were fatal.
