Belding's city manager has pleaded no contest to two counts of child pornography charges.
The charges stem from images that police found on his computer at work and at home.
As part of the plea deal, Mike Wood will be spending 90 days in jail and 90 days in home confinement. He also faces up to $10,000 in fines.
Ionia County prosecutors say Wood will be sentenced in about six weeks.
He was charged with 13 counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of using a computer to commit a crime, and one count of misconduct in office.
City leaders placed Wood on unpaid leave and appointed an acting city manager.
Wood has been Belding's city manager for almost three years.
