Michigan Lottery Drops Game

The Michigan Lottery says it is dropping the Roll Down game September 11.

In its place will come Fantasy Five, a game in which players try to match five numbers from one to 39. Fantasy Five will have a guaranteed first prize of $100,000. It starts September 12, and the jackpot will grow until someone wins it.

Michigan Lottery Commissioner Gary Peters says he expects the average jackpot to be about $155,000.

Peters says Roll Down is like many lottery games and lost popularity over time.
