A catastrophe call center in Marshall is doing its part in the rebuilding effort in Florida after Hurricane Charley.
Marshall's State Farm Insurance Call Center is reaching out to thousands of Michigan and Florida residents. Many Michigan residents own second homes in the badly damaged area.
The call center has received more than 8,000 calls since it opened its doors on Saturday and has filed more than 7,000 loss reports.
The call center averages more than 100 calls an hour and about 1,500 calls a day.
