Two men went to the hospital and two are in jail after an East Lansing fight broke out just before 1:00 a.m. Sunday. Police say the suspects used a tire iron to injure three victims.
The victims suffered head injuries and facial lacerations, but they are expected to be okay. One was treated and released at the scene. Two others were treated and released by Sparrow Hospital.
East Lansing police say the two brothers who committed the violence, Aaron and Paul Brooks, tried to flee from the scene but officers caught up with them and pulled them over during a traffic stop.
The two men are now in Ingham County jail facing charges of felonious assault, which carry penalties of more than a year in jail.
Police say alcohol contributed to the violence.
