Vice President to Stump in Michigan

Vice President Dick Cheney will be stumping in southwest Michigan next week. He's scheduled to attend a campaign rally Wednesday in Battle Creek at Lakeview High. No other details are available.

Cheney's Republican running mate was campaigning in Saginaw Thursday. Defending his economic record, President Bush told the crowd that factory orders are up and the lost jobs are coming back.

Both Bush and Democratic challenger John Kerry recently stopped in Grand Rapids.
