Ed Sarpolus, EPIC MRA’s Vice President and political pollster, says the Seventh Congressional District is deadlocked going into Tuesday’s primary.
Sarpolus says up to 50,000 voters in the district could turn out for the vote (slightly below average), but the independent or “swing voters” may decide who wins.
If independent voters come out in force, former state senator Joe Schwarz will win says Sarpolus.
But a lack of those swing voters could benefit Brad Smith.
Sarpolus says up to 12 percent of Tuesday voters identify with the independent label.
