Fitness experts say this happens because your body gets used to the routine and doesn't have to work as hard to keep up. But when people stop seeing results, many of them stop working out and watching their food intake. Justin Grinnell, a certified personal trainer at "Go Work Out" in Lansing, says it's important to reevaluate your plan and make some changes to challenge yourself.
He says strength training is a great way to increase your metabolism and so is eating small, more frequent meals throughout the day instead of two or three big meals.
