Imagine opening up a can of Coca-Cola Classic, taking a drink, and finding something other than the sugary liquid inside.
Jeremy Norman says that's exactly what happened to him Friday night after buying a $0.50 can of coke from a vendor at Moore's Park. Norman says as he was finishing up the soft drink a diamond ring landed in his throat.
A representative from the Coca-Cola Company says he is investigating the claim even though it would be virtually impossible for anything to be put in, let alone, left inside of a can through the manufacturing process.
Norman says he's waiting to hear back from the company again and if he gets to keep the ring, he will have it appraised.
