Democratic Convention

Members of the Michigan Democratic Party have left their offices in Lansing to head to Boston for the National Democratic Convention. Butch Hollowell, Chairman of the Michigan Democratic Party said there will be the largest number of Michiganians at the convention this year.

Gov. Granholm is scheduled to speak Wednesday before Sen. Kohn Edwards. She will be talking about economic projects for the future.

Hollowell said it will be a tough and close campaign, but they are ready and optimistic.
