Paying More For Exit Row
Starting today, Continental Airlines will charge extra for exit row seats, unless you're a frequent flier.

If you like sitting at an exit row on an airplane, it's going to cost you if you fly with Continental.
Starting Wednesday, the airline is charging extra for exit row seats. Passengers who buy the exit row seats get at least seven more inches of space.
Frequent fliers can still get the exit row seats at no additional cost.
