Quake Rattles Southern California
Magnitude 4.4 earthquake shakes southern California early this morning.

Millions of southern Californians have been shaken awake by an early morning earthquake.
The magnitude 4.4 quake was centered about 10 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, near Pico Rivera. It happened just after 4 a.m.
There are no immediate reports of serious damage, but it presented a sharp jolt to slumbering residents in eastern Los Angeles County.
