Big talk has gotten a wayward husband in bigger trouble with Macomb County authorities.
The Macomb Daily in Mount Clemens reports Friday that Brandon Goddard received 63 more days in jail after telling a radio show that an ex-mistress who reported him to police for videotaping her during sex knew she was being recorded.
The 23-year-old Harrison Township man had pleaded guilty to using a computer to commit a crime and was awaiting sentencing when he called WRIF-FM during a Valentine's Day contest offering flowers as a prize.
A judge heard a recording of the call Wednesday and extended Goddard's sentence for violating probation. Goddard had served 26 days by then.
Defense attorney Anthony Scotta says Goddard's comments were "puffed up" in hopes of winning the flowers for his wife.
