Tuesday Lansing's Common Ground music festival was evacuated due to severe weather. When the storms passed, concert-goers were allowed back in.
At about 8:30 audience-members were asked to calmly move to the Lansing Community College parking garage adjacent to the festival's west stage.
The concern was that lightning was seen from the festival grounds.
At about 9:30 the storms passed, and audience members were allowed back in.
Lansing police report no major injuries during the evacuation of thousands of festival patrons and called it successful.
