Ohio-based company Level Propane files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Customers in Michigan are just finding out about the fate of the company.
Customers were sent letters on Monday telling them about the company's financial problems. Level filed for bankruptcy on June 17.
Michigan's Attorney General's Office says customers should start thinking about a new supplier before winter arrives. Customers have a legitimate reason to be concerned about where their gas will come from.
