Two more Michigan public universities raised tuition for the upcoming school year today.
Lake Superior State University's governing board approved a 9.3 percent tuition increase.
Grand Valley State University officials approved a 9.9 percent increase.
The increases would cause annual tuition to rise above $7000 a year at both schools.
Michigan State, Ferris State, Oakland, Central Michigan and Michigan Tech already have voted to raise tuition for the upcoming school year.
Other universities are expected to raise tuition soon.
Universities say the tuition increases are high this year because of decreased aid from the state.
