Just within the last few years, Jackson County climbed to the top of the state's list for meth production. Just one year ago, law enforcement officials announced a crackdown, and they say it's working.
Michigan State Police Detective Sergeant Frank Williams' job is to educate people about methamphetamine. Williams says creating public awareness is the only way to prevention, especially in Jackson County. Top Jackson county prosecutors say the county has made progress over the last year fighting meth production, but there is always work to be done.
