Hunt Elementary School in Jackson was vandalized over the weekend. Police say they caught the three young vandals inside the school Saturday afternoon.
School officials say 27 windows were broken, along with some statues inside the school. Investigators say the kids also stole loose change and some candy.
Authorities say the boys range in age from nine to 12, and school officials say they believe one kid is a special education student at the school. They are still looking into the status of the other two kids.
The superintendent says the three boys caused about $12,000 in damage.
