Bernero Announces Run For Governor
Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero announces on WILX-TV he is indeed running for governor, and will kick off his campaign today in Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Lansing.

Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero says he is indeed running for governor.
Bernero made his announcement this morning on News Ten Today.
He kicks off his campaign today with stops in Detroit, Grand Rapids, and in Lansing, where he'll give a speech at the Lansing Center Tonight at 5:30p.m.
State Representative Alma Wheeler Smith is the only Democrat officially running so far. House Speaker Andy Dillon has indicated he's close to getting in.
