WILX.com has learned that lightning hit an employee at the Granger facility in Lansing Township during Wednesday's storm. The man survived and is hospitalized for treatment.
Firefighters first reported that lightning had struck near the unidentified man. But now Granger executives are telling us that doctors who treated the man believe he was actually struck.
The victim will be in a hospital for a few days for observation. There's no official word on his condition.
