Three Men Arraigned for Weekend Armed Robberies

Police say they hit five locations in Ingham County during a two hour time period late Friday night and early Saturday morning.

Tony Morgan, 22, Cyrus Beamon, 17, and Gregory Cole, 18, all from Lansing, have each been charged with five counts of armed robbery and one count of conducting a criminal enterprise.

Police says Beamon and Cole approached the people, showed guns and took wallets, cash, a purse, a laptop, pistol whipped a man and assaulted a hotel clerk. The guns they showed the victims were not real. Morgan, who cooperated with police, was the driver of the vehicle.

Each incident happened about 30 minutes apart. Police say they started in Lansing, then went to Holt and East Lansing. An MSU Police Officer made the arrests around 2:00 a.m. Saturday.

Beamon and Cole were denied bond. Morgan's bond was set at $5,000 and he was separated from the other two. is happy to provide a forum for commenting and discussion. Please respect and abide by the house rules:
