Michigan is in the midst of a $1.3 billion road and bridge construction program. With an estimated one million motorists hitting the road this Memorial Day weekend, will construction tie up your trip?
The Michigan Department of Transportation says no because it's putting the brakes on some of its roadwork until Tuesday morning.
Benjamin Kohrman, MDOT spokesperson, says they have suspended work on 142 projects to make travel safer and easier.
