Republican gubernatorial candidate Dick Posthumus has named state senator Loren Bennet as his running mate.
After Tuesday's announcement, Bennett told his supporters that he and Posthumus have the right kind of experience to run the state, something the Democratic candidate doesn't.
Posthumus and Bennett are running against Democratic candidate Jennifer Granholm in November. Granholm is expected to announce her choice for running mate this weekend.
