Fearing that her candidate, John Kerry, could lose the race for president, Gov. Jennifer Granholm wants 3rd Party contender Ralph Nader to "join the Kerry team.”
But first the governor suggests the Kerry/Nader teams need to "resolve whatever issues that Nader believes that he's got on his plate so that he could join the Kerry team."
With word this week that Nader may win a spot on the Michigan ballot because the Reform Party has endorsement him, other democrats are urging Nader to take a hike, too.
Lansing democrat Sen. Virgil Benero telling News 10 that Nader should "go back to battles of old and stay off the presidential ticket. You're not doing anybody any good Ralph. Go home."
It's unlikely Nader will take Benero's advice.
