Your Disposable income will be negatively impacted. Using AAA's averages and if the price at the pump sticks, you could be paying about $40 more each month or more than $500 more each year.

Single parent Shamond Hardin has noticed it already. He has a good job and makes decent money, but it's hard to make it by paying for all of the extras too he says. "I feel like I'm making minimum wage right now," says Hardin.

To file an online complaint about the gas prices, visit the State of Michigan's website at www.michigan.gov. You can also visit the U.S. Department of Energy's website to file a complaint. That address is http://gaswatch.energy.gov/.
