Lansing voters will decide in August whether to allow the city to sell a parking garage on Grand Avenue that developers may want for an adjacent condo tower.
The council approved ballot language Monday.
The developers proposing the $30 million riverfront tower may want to use the ramp for parking. A "yes" vote from residents would allow the city to enter into negotions to sell if the developers are still interested.
The city charter requires a public vote before downtown riverfront property can be sold.
