Scrawled Threat Closes Ann Arbor High School

By  |

Classes and sporting events were canceled today at a Catholic high school near Ann Arbor after police found a threat posted on a bathroom wall.

Police say the words "Virginia Tech today" were found around 8 a.m. at Father Gabriel Richard Regional Catholic High.

Washtenaw County Sheriff Daniel Minzey says police believe they've identified the student or students responsible and have taken them in for questioning. He says authorities will seek to press criminal charges.
