Lorie Ann Hosford was arraigned today on a charge of Larceny in Building. She is accused of taking a jug from a Potterville filling station counter containing money intended for charity. A security camera captured the theft.

The felony Hosford is facing has a potential of four years in prison and/or a $5000 fine.

Hosford has a lengthy criminal history. She also appeared in Eaton County Circuit Court Friday to face fleeing and eluding police. That charge stems from a May 15 incident in Delta Township.

Hosford remains in custody and will undergo a competency exam.
