A man was shot in the buttock as Lansing police tried to disperse a crowd and stop fights outside the Venue nightclub early Sunday morning.
Police say they heard shots as they were trying to calm the crowd and break up fights. No victims were immediately found, but a 21 year old man showed up at Lansing hospital emergency room soon after with a gun shot wound. Police say the wound is not life-threatening.
