Driver Who Caused Rollover Sentenced

By  |

A judge has handed down the sentence in the 2006 rollover accident that was caught on tape.

The driver, 19-year-old Trevor Ryan, will spend two days and one night in jail for leaving the scene of an accident.

The west Michigan teenager will also be on probation for a year and has to pay nearly $1000 in court costs and fines.

A sheriff's deputy's dashboard camera caught the rollover on I-96 in eastern Ingham County last May.

The woman driving the SUV, Emily Bohnus, was not seriously hurt.
