This Week's Ingham County Swine Flu Vaccine Clinics
Vaccine still restricted to eligible groups.

H1N1 Clinics in Ingham County November 9-14
· Tuesday, November 10 at Pattengill Middle School, 626 Marshall St., Lansing, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
· Saturday, November 14 at Holt High School, 5885 West Holt Road, Holt, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
People eligible for the H1N1 vaccine now include the following (Ingham County residents only):
· pregnant women,
persons who live with or provide care for infants under 6 months of age,
· health care and emergency medical personnel who provide direct patient care,
· children ages 6 months through 9 years of age, and
· children, adolescents and adults ages 10 through 64 years old who have an underlying medical condition that places them at higher risk for influenza-related complications. These individuals must provide documentation of their medical condition such as a doctor’s note, prescription, or an empty medication container.
Notice that the following individuals are included under the new eligibility criteria:
· All children 9 years old and younger
· People who provide care to infants under 6 months of age including day care workers
· Health care and emergency medical services personnel who provide direct patient care. Direct patient care means physical contact with patients.
The walk-in clinic at the Ingham County Health Department remains open. Hours are 9:30-11:30 and 1:00 – 4:30 Monday through Friday except closed on Thursday morning.
