The Greater Lansing Business Index, an indicator of economic health, was released. The survey of 300 local businesses found mixed results.
Overall the short-term portion of the business index showed little growth or decline.
The survey of mid to small business found that during April 47 percent were total satisfied with the local economy while 50 percent are totally dissatisfied (three percent are undecided).
The survey’s author called the survey cautiously optimistic.
