Salt for Your Lungs?

An unorthodox new treatment uses salty air to help patients with breathing problems breathe easier.

Rocks from a Russian salt mine are being used as a remedy. But the report says any kind of salt can be used as a treatment, even Morton's.

The report also says the results usually takes at least two weeks before patients see a major improvement.

However, doctors warn patients not to replace therapies with the salt remedy. They say it could lead to some dangerous situations.

Right now, salt treatments are going for $25 for a 45-minute session.
