Despite nearly 300 spaces lost with the start of the Stadium District construction, there's still plenty of places to park in downtown Lansing. There should be no parking problems this baseball season.
Kevin Green, Executive Director of Lansing's Principal Shopping District, says there are about 7,500 city owned spots available. Nearly 8,000 if you add in the private lots, he adds.
East of Oldsmobile Park there's a number of parking places too. Metered spaces are free Monday through Friday after 6 p.m. They're free all day long Saturday and Sunday.
