The 19-year-old Special Olympian who died Friday in the Mason High School swimming pool was Kyle Frasier. Now the family is looking for a way to pay for the funeral expenses.
Kyle and other classmates from Heartwood School were practicing in the pool for an upcoming Special Olympics meet. Just after practice started, Kyle stopped moving in the pool and although lifeguards quickly came to his rescue, he could not be revived.
The family is not only dealing with the grief of Kyle's death, but they are also struggling with the expense of his funeral. Donations are being accepted by:
Area Eight Special Olympics
2901 Wabash Rd.
You can make checks payable to Annette McCann, Kyle's mother.
