Workers at a Lansing check cashing business suspected a man was trying to cash a stolen check, so they locked the doors until police arrived.
Police say the 25-year-old Lansing man entered the business on North Clippert Street in Lansing Township. A clerk determined that the check was stolen and immediately alerted coworkers, who locked the front door, trapping the suspect inside.
The suspect was locked up a second time, in the Ingham County Jail.
