Superintendent Search

At least six mid-Michigan districts will be without their current superintendents next year. East Lansing and Haslett are only in the beginning of their searches.

One of the first public forums was held in East Lansing’s administrative building about the superintendent search.

A spokesperson for the Michigan Leadership Institute worked with a handful of residents on the districts strengths and skills to help coordinate the criteria for a candidate.

East Lansing, Okemos, Haslett, Williamston, Eaton Rapids and Bath will be seeking new leadership next year.

Thomas Pridegon of the Michigan Leadership Institute says the districts may battle each other for some candidates.
