Police are searching for a Marshall woman who has been missing since March 12. They say she had an argument with her fiancé and walked away from their apartment. But friends of 39-year-old Mary Denise Lands say she would never walk away from the town she's lived in her whole life without a word.
Police say Lands left her apartment in Walden Pond on foot, with only her purse and coat. But she left behind her cell phone and her brand new car. In the ten days she's been missing, police say there hasn't been any action on her credit cards or bank account.
Marshall Police are being assisted in their investigation by the Michigan State Police and the FBI. They say Mary Lands' disappearance is suspicious.
But friends and family are holding out hope for her safe return, plastering the town with her picture and asking anyone with information to call police.
