INGHAM TWP - One person is dead following a morning car crash in rural Ingham County. Emergency crews were sent to the intersection of Columbia Road and Osborne Road just northeast of Dansville Friday morning at 8 o'clock. There the found a single car smashed and on fire. A preliminary investigation by the Ingham County Sheriff's Office indicates the driver went off the road and crashed into several trees before catching on fire. Speed and slick conditions likely contributed to the accident. The sheriff's office says only the driver was in the car. That driver has not been identified yet.
