News 10 obtained a copy of a preliminary report commissioned by community leaders saying that there is no opposition to Michigan State’s Medical school expanding to Grand Rapids.
The rough draft states that half of first and second year students in the College of Human Medicine may find themselves in Grand Rapids.
The draft states that clinical faculty must remain in East Lansing to provide health care and education.
MSU, East Lansing and the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce would not comment directly on the report.
