Crimetracker: Gas Station Robberies

Lansing Police need your help in finding a man who is suspected of robbing two gas stations in less than 15 minutes.

Police say the Clark Gas Station on South MLK was hit first at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday night. The man indicated he had a gun and demanded money. He then fled on foot when the clerk refused to give him any cash.

A few minutes later a person matching the same description robbed the Buddy's Gas Station on South Pennsylvania. The suspect did then get away with some money. He then fled in an older model brown van with stripes.

The suspect is described as a black male, medium build, wearing a tan jacket and blue jeans. He was also wearing a black stocking cap over his face. If you have any information call the Lansing Police at 483-4600.
