Spartan Chassis in Charlotte is getting another major Pentagon contract.
The Defense Department will pay 16-point-four million dollars for new military vehicles.
Spartan Chassis, which is a subsidiary of Spartan Motors, will build 155 "mine resistant" vehicles.
The company already has a contract to build the "Cougar" troop carrier.
It started a 14-million dollar expansion last year to help with all the work.
