A Leslie High School teacher is cleared of all charges after being arrested in January and accused of having sexual contact with one of his special education students.
In a press conference Friday morning, the Ingham County Prosecutor announced that the allegations against Craig Fry were all a hoax. In January, Fry, a special education teacher at Leslie High School, was arrested on school grounds and charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct. Police said they acted on testimony from the reported victim, a 16-year old female student, but further investigation found that the accusations were fabricated. Others were involved and all could be facing criminal charges.
All three charges have been dropped, but Fry does not have his job back. That decision will be made by the school board after police paperwork and the school's investigation is finished.
