Local school districts within the Ingham Intermediate School District are asking voters for help.
On March 15, voters will be asked to approve a one-mil increase for the next ten years. The Regional Enhancement Millage would raise about $7.5 million annually for the 12 school districts within the Ingham ISD.
It would mean an additional $160 per student a year. For Haslett Public Schools that translates into an increase of $450,000 a year.
The increase would cost the owner of a home valued at $100,000 an additional $50 a year.
Each school district holds it own election.
