Dean Layoffs Not Seen in Michigan

Despite reports that Gov. Howard Dean has laid-off workers in his bid to be the Democratic nominee for U.S. President, local personnel say no Michigan workers have been impacted.

Representatives for the campaign say no staffers have been laid off, and in fact the numbers of Dean workers have grown to over 100 since the New Hampshire primary.

A campaign coordinator says trimming staff during a campaign is typical.
