For the second time in less than two weeks a woman has complained about the extent she was searched as she passed through Gerald Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids.
The woman says she was in the airport on July 1 when she was forced to partially undress by airport security when she stepped through security and metal detectors went off. The alarms were tripped by metal parts the woman received after undergoing breast reconstruction surgery following a bout with breast cancer.
The woman says screeners insisted on a visual search even after she provided them with medical records.
