We've all made excuses not to exercise, but one program at the Michigan Athletic Club brings the gym to you and it can benefit people of all fitness levels.

Gym on the Go uses resistance exercises instead of weights. You use your own body weight with elastic tubing. In about 30 min., the different exercises develop strength and flexibility, and when used in conjunction with cardiovascular exercises, helps with weight loss.

"People have a tendency to overdue the cardio machines, and underdo the strength training and flexibility. This program can offer an all around workout," Jason Block, Michigan Athletic Club.

The MAC will offer a free demonstration of the gym on the go on Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Call the MAC at 337-8255.
